Welcome to June! 🌈

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing.

June is here and that means: Happy Pride Month! I’ve been reading a lot lately, especially books featuring characters or by authors within the LGBTQ+ community. My current favorite is The Nightmare Before Kissmas by Sara Raasch. Coal is a disaster, which is always fun to read, especially when you read his ✨ growth ✨. I also highly recommend A Hexcellent Chance to Fall in Love by Ann Rose. It’s a sapphic romance between Pepper, who’s cursed to run a Halloween store and be forgotten by everyone when she—and the store—disappear after the holiday, and Christina, a teacher who doesn’t quite like Halloween but likes Pepper. A lot.

Do you have any recs for LGBTQ+ books? I am always looking to expand my library/TBR!

I’ve created the signup form to be a beta reader for my next book: Love in a Different Key. I really am excited for this book, and I hope y’all will enjoy it, too!

Adam Hale is a hot up-and-comer in the indie music scene, captivating fans with raw talent and charismatic persona.

Thea McCann, however, is no more than a college student living at home with her father, uncle, brother, and cousin. Between past betrayal and lost love, she's found that these men, and her cat, are all she needs.

But a chance encounter with Adam shakes her quiet world. Though the spark between them is undeniable, Thea can't help but wonder if she's only setting herself up for another heartbreak.

Can she let go of the ghosts of her past and embrace the possibility of something new, or will the weight of lost love hold her back from what could be?

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing. Summer is technically (almost) here, and I’m incredibly excited about it! As much as I adore autumn the most, summer is a close second place. Summer means taking the kiddos to the pool, going to the park/playground, and not having to wake up at 5:30 on the weekdays because there’s no school. Well, that last one WOULD be true if the older kids hadn’t decided to do voluntary...

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing. Welcome to April! I’m coming to you live from Headacheville where I’ve resided for the last few days. It’s… not pleasant. So with that in mind, I’ll be keeping this month’s newsletter short and sweet. Last week was my birthday (35, yay!), which I spent in the best way possible: spending time with the kiddos and Husband. I even recreated one of my absolute most favorite...

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing. Spring has (almost) sprung, and I’m thankful for that! I’m not a huge fan of the winter months—too cold and usually dreary—for my liking, so the warmer weather and bright sunshine is enough to make me sing a jaunty little tune. Even the rain showers and thunderstorms can’t bring me down. (Mostly because I love rain showers and thunderstorms. Duck, on the other hand, does...
