🎶 Back to school, back to school... 🎶

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing. You’re welcome to unsubscribe at any time if you decide I’m just not the author for you, and there’ll be absolutely no hard feelings.

Bye-bye, summer, and helloooooo, back-to-school!!! Middlest’s birthday was a few days ago, and the older kids start school in 2 days (and I. Can’t. Wait.). Summer has been an absolute blast, though, even if my writing HAS taken a bit of a hit because of all the activities we’ve done. We had lots of fun and made memories, and that’s what matters, right? We did back-to-school clothes shopping, and Middlest plans on looking like she stepped out of a pastel-crayon factory on her first day: pale pink pants, a pastel blue Peeps shirt, and a pretty sunshine-yellow denim jacket. I love her style.

Regarding my writing: I’m SO SO SO CLOSE to this next little novel(la) being done; I’m working on the final chapter right now, then it’ll be time to edit it and get a cover (I’ve been trying my hand at creating one, but I am soooo much better at words than visual art… So looks like I’ll probably outsource). I’m not sure whether it’ll be a novella by the time I’m finished, or if it’ll slip into “novel” territory. BUT I’m still hoping for a September release for it, so I’ll be writing writing writing.

Working on my other WIPs has been going well. I’ve gotten quite a bit done in my grumpy x sunshine AND my single parents. Speaking of WIPs, y’all wanna see what I’ve got going on? (All listed “titles” are, obviously, subject to change lol)

— Convenience/Second Chance
— Fratboy
— Grumpy x sunshine
— Stella
— Little Sparrow
— Beast of Burden
— In a Flash
— Santa
— Sound of Silence
— The Road to Us
— Sunflower
— Musician
— Single Parents
— Two Lost Souls (part II of my Letters from Home duet)

So… lots to work on! Anybody wanna guess what they’re about, or suggest which one I should work on?

I think this is everything for now, so I’ll leave you alone for another few weeks (unless I have something to say before then~)

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing. Welcome. Hello to the last month of the year. It’s been a wild ride, hasn’t it? I don’t know what it’s been like for you, but I’ve had plenty of ups and downs over the last twelve months. Between a release (The Road Back Home), a potential to be in an anthology (which promptly got postponed), and plenty of back-and-forth between writing and not… I’m surprised I’ve lasted...

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing. Holy goshitall, it’s November, which means the year is almost over. 😱 Doesn’t feel like it should be this late into the year, but… It is. Anyway. As you may have noticed, this newsletter is coming atcha a little later in the day than normal. That’s because I spent this morning/afternoon with the kiddos and Husband at my in-laws’, helping them paint/seal walls and get one...

I meant to get this out Saturday, but I totally lost track of time. Then yesterday was full of helping my in-laws, so I didn’t get the chance to draft this up. Now it’s 6:30 in the morning on a Monday...
