Well, it’s mid-September, which means autumn officially starts in… let me math this up… 9 days! I’m excited. Autumn is my absolute favorite season. Warm days but evenings juuuuuust cool enough to sit by a bonfire, falling leaves in beautiful colors that crunch underfoot, pumpkin pumpkin PUMPKIN (seriously… I LOVE pumpkin…), and just the right window of light during the daytime hours. Plus, HELLOOOO???, Halloween! What’s not to love?!
It’s been roughly a month and a half since The Road Back Home was released, and I cannot believe the DMs and emails I’ve received from y’all with your reactions. I’m currently in that “post-book-release” slump that comes after I let one of my babies out into the world, so the lovely messages have been keeping me pushing on with writing. To celebrate, I’ve decided to offer any of my ebooks for free if you want it! On the writing front: I’m currently taking a (very small) break from writing novels to work on a few winter-themed novellas/short stories (and even a freebie bonus scene for Max and Clay because I should’ve known I wasn’t finished with them! I love them too much). I’m hoping to get one of these novellas into an anthology—I say ‘hopefully’ because I applied and am waiting for a response and, well, we all know my brain. It’s kinda fickle.
While I’ve still got you, I just want to say thank you. So very much. Your support has meant everything to me since I started this journey. I genuinely can’t imagine where I’d be without you.
Anyway. I honestly can’t think of any other updates right now, so I’ll end this here so I can take Middlest to her hair appointment! We’re going purple!
