January is here, and so are you!

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing.

Haaaappppyyyy (belated) New Year! I truly hope it’s been a wonderful start to the year. And I hope 2026 brings you nothing but joy, peace, and good things. So far, mine has been great—minus a big of a snafu with my laptop at the end of December/a few days into January. Note: Do not put an uncapped bottle of soda anywhere near a laptop. It tends to get… sticky. Thankfully, my laptop is fine now. Phew! In other news, I now have a 3 year old, and when the heck did that happen?! Oh. Right. About a week ago. :D

On the writing front: I’m very nearly halfway done with this next book, which I’m super-excited about. It’s in a genre completely different than anything I’ve written before. It’s not just strictly romance. Heck, it’s not even “contemporary”. It’s paranormal/supernatural (whichever category animal shifters fall under). It’s got love, drama, action… Everything. And I’m so excited for you to read it.

Heyyy, why don’t I make this a surprise title and blurb reveal? Sound good? Good. Here goes:

Beast of Burden

From the time they were born, Adeliz and Emerick knew they were going to be Bonded. Not for love, but for power and loyalty. It is not the path Adeliz would have chosen for herself, but their union will maintain the peace.

However, when the day arrives and the bonding ritual is interrupted by the appearance of a beaten and bloodied stranger, Adeliz, Emerick, and their clans are thrust into the middle of a war with an enemy they know nothing of. As they prepare for the fight of their lives, she finds herself torn between her duty as protector of her people and her duty to herself—and her heart.

If you’d like to be a beta reader, feel free to sign-up here. And be on the lookout for the cover reveal! You’ll be first to see it—whenever I get around to commissioning someone to make it.

I’m also still also working on Two Lost Souls so never fear—you’ll definitely get part 2 of Oliver and Sarge’s story. There might even be part 3, if I can get my Muse to cooperate long enough. (She’s a fickle thing, really…)

Alright, that’s all for me this month~ Thanks for sticking around—I love y’all.

Don’t look at the Fae. Don’t talk to the Fae. Don’t marry the Prince.

Adeline Duvall never thought she would get caught…especially by her best friend and Prince. Uncertainty and trials shake Adeline’s day to day as she tries to navigate life without her mate. All while trying to stay away from the prince and find out how to break the curse.

With the weight of everything on Adeline’s shoulders, she doesn’t know if she can continue on but one glance from her mate gives her determination to find the hidden book, no matter the consequences or trials.

Torn between trials and keeping secrets, Adeline will have to decide who to trust, the Fae who has helped her or the Prince who has taken interest in her.

Tomorrow by Emerson Hunt

Erin Hartley has enjoyed the relative success her band has had in the States. So it’s no surprise when they’re slated to be an opening act on an overseas tour. Armed with her best friends and favorite guitar, she fights through the anxieties to endure the ups and downs of life on the road. She gets more than she bargained for in the form of new friends—and feelings for a guy who barely recognizes that she exists.

Until she needs him more than she’s ever needed anyone before. Will Grayson’s help be enough to light the spark, or will what’s between them fizzle out?

The Unexpected Match by L. Clara

Hadley
I married my high-school sweetheart five years ago. We have been making plans to have our first child when he tells me on our anniversary that he can only stay with me if I allow him to open our relationship so that we can both see other people. Reluctantly, I agree, not expecting to fall in love with the person I meet.
Connor
I moved to Central Falls to help my sister raise my nephew after her husband was killed in a car accident. I've spent the last five years as CEO at DL Technologies, concentrating on my career and caring for my family. When my nephew insisted I find someone, I never expected the incredible woman I found.

Tangled in Tinsel by Ellen Mint

Dear Santa, please leave a red-headed lumberjack under the tree. I’ve been a very good boy.

Reining in a Cowboy by Chelsey Fay

We vowed to stay away, but the embers of our passion refused to die.

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing. Welcome to the (middle of the) month of L-O-V-E!! It’s hard to believe January has already come and gone, but alas, here we are. Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day, Palentine’s Day , or nothing at all, I hope you have lots of love in your life. Everyone deserves it. Things have been… weird for me lately. Writing took a small backseat, which hasn’t been...

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing. Welcome. Hello to the last month of the year. It’s been a wild ride, hasn’t it? I don’t know what it’s been like for you, but I’ve had plenty of ups and downs over the last twelve months. Between a release (The Road Back Home), a potential to be in an anthology (which promptly got postponed), and plenty of back-and-forth between writing and not… I’m surprised I’ve lasted...

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing. Holy goshitall, it’s November, which means the year is almost over. 😱 Doesn’t feel like it should be this late into the year, but… It is. Anyway. As you may have noticed, this newsletter is coming atcha a little later in the day than normal. That’s because I spent this morning/afternoon with the kiddos and Husband at my in-laws’, helping them paint/seal walls and get one...
