A preorder! Keep reading for more information about it.

Welcome to May, and boyyyy, do I have some things to tell you! It’s been a whirlwind these past few weeks. Oldest graduated from 8th grade, Middlest is finished with 6th grade, and Duck is officially in his own bedroom in a big kid bed. It was rough—he would wake up at roughly 2:30 in the morning every night, and I would get the joy of having to sit on his bedroom floor until he fell back asleep. Which took hours, a couple of times. After two weeks, it finally ended. 😬 Thank heavens! I need my beauty sleep!

Now, onto what you (probably) really wanna know:

The Road Back Home is officially on preorder!! The release date is set for July 29, 2025, and I’m so excited for it. I know it’s later than I’ve been promising, but in my defense… Yeah, I don’t think I have much of one. Just know I’m sorry I’ve made y’all wait so long. If you’d like to be an ARC reader, please fill out this form, and I’ll email you soon!

I don’t know if you’ve been following my social media, but recently, I posted a screenshot of a text I sent my best friend and talked about how it spawned an intense brainstorming session in which we ironed out the details for one of my upcoming books (because I totally need another idea…). So there’s that coming, too. Along with all my other WIPs, because I can never just stick with one. Hopefully it won’t take as long to release another book as it has The Road Back Home.

One last thing: There is now character art for Max, from Scars & Souvenirs! I spent over a month drawing her, and I think I did a good job, if I do say so myself. What do you think?

Well, I am off to Six Flags with Husband, so I suppose that’s all for me this month. Hope to see y’all in a few weeks!

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing. Welcome. Hello to the last month of the year. It’s been a wild ride, hasn’t it? I don’t know what it’s been like for you, but I’ve had plenty of ups and downs over the last twelve months. Between a release (The Road Back Home), a potential to be in an anthology (which promptly got postponed), and plenty of back-and-forth between writing and not… I’m surprised I’ve lasted...

If you’re new, welcome! So glad to have ya. I’m Finley, and I write contemporary romance with heart, heat, and healing. Holy goshitall, it’s November, which means the year is almost over. 😱 Doesn’t feel like it should be this late into the year, but… It is. Anyway. As you may have noticed, this newsletter is coming atcha a little later in the day than normal. That’s because I spent this morning/afternoon with the kiddos and Husband at my in-laws’, helping them paint/seal walls and get one...

I meant to get this out Saturday, but I totally lost track of time. Then yesterday was full of helping my in-laws, so I didn’t get the chance to draft this up. Now it’s 6:30 in the morning on a Monday...
