Some updates this Spooky Season 🎃

I was going to talk about how much I love October, Halloween and trick-or-treating in the town square, autumn… I was. But it feels rather gauche to talk about something so trivial when there have been catastrophic weather events that have affected so many people, including people I love. I cannot imagine the enormity of experiencing these events firsthand. I truly hope that, if you’re in the impacted areas, you are safe and well. That your loved ones are safe.

I do have some updates: I’ve officially finished writing my next book. I’ve spent the last couple of weeks editing and I have a cover in place, so ARC readers should prepare to get their hands on it. If you are interested in being an ARC reader, the sign-up is here. I’d love to have ya! Sign-ups will only be open until the 19th of October.

I’ve felt utterly awful because I hadn’t been able to keep to my commitment of getting a book out this summer, but c’est la vie, yeah? Thankfully, this book is ready and has a specific date for release: November 30th, 2024. And I promise, barring unforeseen circumstances, it will not change.

Another thing: I am now on Kobo! So if you prefer to get your books there, that is another place you can find me!

Before I go, I want to talk about one last thing: Scribbles. Scribbles is an online author-owned bookshop that sells SIGNED books from over 80 indie romance authors. Most come with swag (stickers, bookmarks, character art, NSFW prints, etc), and the owner works directly with the authors (awesome!). They stock books from both ‘big’ and ‘small’ (also awesome!)

You can find Scribbles on social media at @Scribblesbookshop or at their website here. I really hope you’ll give Scribbles a shot—I know I’m gonna!

Harley Graham really thought her life would be more stable at twenty-four. Instead, she’s without direction, sharing a run-down house with too many roommates, and close to giving up. Fortunately, her older brother isn’t going to let that happen: He applies for a job on her behalf.

Assistant to a punk-rock musician isn’t exactly what she had in mind for a career, but anything is better than relying on her family for rent money. Managing Asa Miller’s fast-paced life gives Harley plenty of time to notice all the little things that make him special, the things that make him different, but dreams of a romance with her rockstar boss are the last thing she needs.

Somehow, she must get rid of these pesky feelings before they cost her everything.

Welcome to the month of loooooove. I remember just a few years ago, I’d have to buy enough mass-market Valentine’s Day cards for TWO classrooms, label them individually, wrangle my kids into signing their names to each card, and hope they remembered to take the cards to school to pass out during their Valentine’s party. Now, I have two teenagers (well… one teenager, one preteen), so those days are gone—at least until Duck starts school in roughly 3 years. Anyway! There’s gonna be an...
